I engaged this man to repair a leak in the roof of my cottage. He has taken £3200.00 off me, and I still have the leak in my roof. I have phoned him, text him and no joy. I paid him on the nose through my bank, so I have put this feedback on the website. All is true. I have sent a complaint to mybuilder.com and will take this a lot further, so please be very careful of this man.

Tom from Safeguard roofing check over the roof of the semidetached bungalow we had just purchased. He was though and dry verging was added to the side of the bungalow and garage. The work was carried out in a timely manner and we were very satisfied with the work that was done. We would not hesitate to hire SafeguardRoofing again if our roof needed any repairs done.

As a tradesman with a profile on the mybuilder site myself the last thing I wanted to do was leave negative feedback for anyone, however with Tom I have to, and let people know that if you have any problems with any work after making payment to Tom, you may not get any response or get them resolved. Unfortunately I am currently abroad and unable to undertake any work on my properties so In Aug of 2022 I agreed to hire Tom to re bed the coping stones on the roof of a tenanted property as rainwater was getting through into the rear landing, he was very quick to respond to the advert saying he was in the area and could quote today, he messaged me quickly, gave me the quote quickly, then when i agreed to the price he said he could do the job immediately! Everything seemed fine in Aug and Sept when dry, however in October 2 months later I received a message from my tenant saying that after a downfall rain water was coming through as previously. I messaged Tom on the mybuilder site, this was around 6 weeks ago, asking if he could take a look for me, Although as the tenant had suggested, the leak was in the same place, I didn't make any presumptions and I just wanted him to re visit and give me his opinion. Seven messages later I still have had no reply Really disappointed as its difficult to find good honest trades people, so please to everyone considering Tom, check his feedback thoroughly and notice how many people haven't left any at all, this could tell you a story

Good job done efficiently and at a good price-would recommend

Full fascia/gutter replacement completed within 24hrs of viewing job. Came back quickly to sort out a slight leak and assured me he's only a phone call away if any other problems arise. Very good, would use Tom again for any roofing needs and recommend to anyone looking.

Tom was prompt, kept me informed of what the job would entail The price was reasonable and carried out quickly and with minimal mess Very tidy Would use again

came very quick to the property and advised he could do the job there and then, he completed the work promptly and tidied up after, he gas us his card and advised any issues at all to ring him and he would be straight round, but i havent found any issues
