His quote was very reasonable for the amount of work he did for us. He worked a long full day to finish everything in one day. When later that evening a joint started to leak due to a faulty bit of solder, he came straight back again that night and corrected the problem, working until 11:30 to do so. The boiler runs according to the engineer who came out. But the wiring just needs redoing I think. I've bought a control unit that needs installing. There's also an old thermostat in the wall that the engineer said isn't needed, but I want to know where the wires go. Got a tenant moving in to the property in Saturday so time's ticking!
