Robert checked the boiler at relatively short notice and I am really grateful for a good job well done. He quoted for the job and also gave advice on a possible future check on the pump.

Fantastic to deal with, Robert is a no nonsense person that just gets on with the job and patiently attended to the fault on our system. Through a process of elimination Robert tracked the problem and fixed it for us easily. He took a lot of care to make sure the replacement work was carried out to a high standard and followed up a courtesy check that all was ok. Big thanks as this problem had been going on for a year!!

I had two plumbers out previously to try to sort out what was wrong with my boiler. The first changed the fan and a valve and charged £412 for his work. The second fiddled around for ages then announced I would need a new boiler but, just 'it just so happened he could get me one cheap...' I am in my '70's but not actually away with the fairies yet so I asked all my friends who they could recommend. Roberts name kept coming up and when I looked at his reviews I thought he had so many good ones they could not all be fake (I am very sceptical!). Anyway Robert came out - he was the first one to ask where the hot tank was (as opposed to the boiler). I did not know as I had only just bought the house but he found it and discovered a leak in the piping that was affecting the pressure in the boiler and preventing it from working properly. He renewed the piping (without having to drive off for half an hour to get anything!) then drained the system to rebalance it and cleaned the boiler out for good measure. He charged HALF of the first guys amount but was here for three hours. He was polite, kind and friendly throughout. Frankly I was amazed. English plumbers could really learn from this guy. I cant recommend him more highly and will NEVER now use any other plumber.

Robert arrived promptly & is very professional, knowledgeable & polite He soon identified the fault, & fixed it & saw last few servicing's & callouts by another company were never done HISTORY from previous regular so called Gas professional company. Robert promptly identified that the Carbon, Coke, and filters had been seriously neglected, if at all cleaned since new. This was even though the previous service was paid for and apparently carried out by the frequently re - attending so called engineer, who spent more time boasting that he does 20 to 24 insurance emergency calls a day, and he gets £50 per call. He never fixed anything, just attended and paid lip service. His boasting continued on and on about him being the best engineer since he came to UK and still in the south. He went on and on again, saying his company almost went broke, after he left for not being paid his full salary, before they begged him to go back. He had condemned my boiler and all eclectics, when it was simply the room thermostat AA batteries and boiler stat. This was 8 months ago. This shows the standards of that company and it's engineers, who also charged £714 plus vat to change an £80 pcb. Didn't realise what a greedy and potentially dangerous area this trade could still be in 2020 They are also on the companies recommended by the Gas Organisation, no names. But thank you so much again Robert and I will recommend and use you every time now

Robert did a fantastic job and he was very prompt. We also asked him to do some extra jobs as a result.

I would recommend Robert Szydlowski from Gas Aces Alton. Robert was helpful, conscientious and trustworthy. He came on time on the days we had arranged and completed the work on time. He fitted a new basin and cabinet, adjusted pipework, fitted a new toilet, fitted new taps inside and outside and carried out the annual gas boiler service. I am pleased with the work.

Robert arrived on time, diagnosed the problems quickly and fixed them within one hour. The total price was less than I expected and less than the maximum he had estimated over the phone. He left the working area clean and tidy. I have no problem recommending him to anyone.

Robert managed to come to fix a leak with short notice. We have had lots of issues in the past with our system and plumbers have often not been able to fix any issues we've had. Robert was very knowledgeable and not only fixed the issue but helped with our understanding of the system and fixed a couple other small issues. We always believed our system had been a 'bodge job' and he confirmed this and helped with some of the confusion/other issues. He charged less than expecting and we have now a better system that we did before he arrived! I would wholly recommend and will call him back in the future if we have any more issues.
