RL Roofing responded in a timely manner and arranged to come and look at the job. RL Roofing’s assessment of the job involved climbing onto the roof to get a good understanding of the problem and necessary resolution (Unlike others who have a tendency to assess and cost a job using a pair of binoculars from the ground... they didn't get the job). RL Roofing gave a good explanation of the cause and recommended solution. The damaged roof tiles that needed replacing were imported from Europe during the 1950's and RL Roofing tried to source the same tiles from reclamation yards - although not fully successful (which is probably why previous roof repairs had involved cementing broken tile together and refitting). RL Roofing had sourced very similar tiles and suggested moving some roof tiles around so the new tiles didn't clash with the original tiles and negate the need to re-tile the whole roof. When the job was completed it was very difficult to notice any difference in the tiles. RL Roofing turned up when they said, did a good day’s work, and the roof issues are no more. Finding a good descent roofer whom you can have trust in is very difficult, but I believe RL Roofing are one of these. Recommend: Yes

Great service, speedy response and a friendly chap to deal with. I told Rob what I wanted and within 2 minutes, he was up the ladder looking at the chimney stacks measuring up. He even phoned his suppliers from the top of the roof ensuring the domed terracotta caps were available for our size pots. We agreed on a price and time when convenient for us, and he turned up on time and completed the job within 10 minutes. Throughly recommended to anyone wanting roofing services.

This tradesman is well worth hiring. He was the first to reply to my request, just to fit one tile that had slipped from under the flashing. He did an excellent job and checked the rest of the tiles around chimney. He was not over priced and they were two polite and pleasant workmen. A job well done. Rob was very helpful. He contacted me within a few hours of posting the job and quickly sorted out what needed doing (his communication skills are excellent). He made an appointment to view the job, came on time and did the job quickly, efficiently and with no fuss or mess. One very nice aspect of his approach to work was that after going up on the roof to assess the job, he took some excellent photos to show me exactly what the problem was and what needed doing to fix it before he began the job - very professional and extremely helpful.
