Rob did a great job in difficult circumstances - this wet weather not helping outside decoration. House now looks great and would recommend to anyone.

The job was to plaster a large open plan lounge diner stairs and landing. Rob arrived punctually and completed the work efficiently and to a high standard. The unavoidable mess , which was minimal, was quickly cleared up. Rob provided a very professional service and we are very pleased with the work. We would not hesitate to use him again.

Rob quoted me a very reasonable and competitive price for re-plastering a kitchen ceiling (removing old ceiling, re-boarding and skimming) and replacing our shower. Rob and his son were punctual, clean and professional and we are very happy with the work they did and the clearing up afterwards too! Rob even installed some isolators on our shower pipes without extra charge which we hadn't requested in the quote. We would happily recommend Rob to anyone needing such work done and will certainly use Rob again in the future.

Rob and Stuart have just completed the exterior paint of our property and I would like to add my views to those of previous reviewers to say what a great pair of guys to have working on a job for you. Timely, tidy, hard working and professional throughout. We have also used Rob and Stuart for the reskimming of all the ceilings in our house, which they had done a great job on, turning unsightly artex into nice smooth ceilings. If you have an opportunity to get Rob to quote you for some work, do so, you won't regret it.

R.J Gurney was used in a project for the Channel 4 production team in Stroud in November. Robert did a fantastic job and we would recommend him for future work.

We hired Rob and his son to plaster over some artex which covered our hallway and stairs. the quality of the walls were poor also, bowing in and out with no regular pattern. They came bang on time and setup with the minimum of fuss, clearing the artex (a very messy job) before doing an excellent job of plastering everything. It took two days to complete, but at the end of each day, they left the house tidier than when they started. They were also very careful not to dirty our new carpet (which unfortunately had to be laid prior to them starting!) Overall they did a great job, so we have a nice blank canvas to start again, we are very very pleased with the result. Very professional, friendly and polite and did a great job, highly recommended, thank you Rob!

On time, on budget, as specified - quick and helpful response to our questions, and a good job which has transformed the front of the house from shabby to smart. Recommended.

Good job. Rob kept us informed of what was happening before and during the work and was very reliable and kept to timings. The guys didn't make a mess and caused very minimal disruption. It was a relatively big job and where there were a few minor niggles these were sorted out immediately and without any quibble. Would use again and recommend to others.
