Very prompt (and reasonable) quote - excellent quality of work, job involved plastering, carpentry, electrics, painting and chimney sweeping and it was all handled with ease. Job overran by a couple of days but the quality more than made up for the small delay!

Professional, no-nonsense, competent and very hardworking is how I would sum up RJ Gurney. RJ Gurney basically transformed our hallway, landing and living room to a lovely finish. No coroners were cut. Many days work put in and any of the very few niggles we had were fixed the next day. Was able to complete extra jobs we gave him without any fuss. Felt secure in leaving him the house keys for the duration of job. His price for tilling a hallway (Victorian style floor tiles) and prepping all woodwork and all painting was cheaper than some quoting for just the painting! We are just very pleased how it all went and his team, especially his tiller, are really nice! We will be hiring he again soon to do the guttering and fascia boards outside the front of our house for a very good price!
