    Liam and team are really excellent, turn up on time do a great job, crack it out and leave you feeling glad that you selected then. On our list of preferred plumber.

    Leaking bath
    Great work by these guys for what was a very difficult and awkward job in my bathroom. Would 100% recommend!

    Bathroom sink installed
    We asked for a sink installed in a small toilet area and we were not disappointed. Job was done in less than 2 hours and and everything was left clean and tidy, no fuss at all. Would certainly reccomend Liam and would use him again in the future for all plumbing jobs. Thank you, very happy 😊

    Toilet won't flush
    Liam and his colleague arrived when they said they would. After going for parts and having trouble turning off the water (sheer perseverance did the trick) they replaced the inside of my toilet cistern and got the toilet flushing, much to my delight. They were both very friendly and polite and I wouldn't hesitate in using Pritchard's again.

    Two bathroom repairs Gateshead
    Liam was hired to come out and repair the flush mechanisms on two toilets. He attended in good time and completed the repair for the quoted price, plus small addition to total cost for an unforeseen issue. The next day I took a call from the caretaker that there was a leak into two flats below mine. No issues with leaks in the flat in 13 years of owning it. Liam came back have a look at the leak and later on I got a text saying that the leak came from the taps not the toilets and I’d have to pay a call out fee to fix the leak. I said I couldn’t possibly see how the leak couldn’t be related to the work he’d done since we had never had a leak before, and what are the chances that a leak happened randomly one day after the plumber had been out. I said I couldn’t make payment until I had worked out what had caused the leak, and that it would be a couple of days because I live 150 miles away from the flat and I work full time. Over the next 24 hours I was getting constant texts and calls asking for payment culminating in Liam threatening to come out and take his parts back (bear in mind this is on the Thursday, job was on the Tuesday and leak on the Wednesday, so hardly a long time). This would have been a major problem if he’d done this because it would have been harassing the flat tenants. I had to leave work to sort this out causing major stress and loss of £200 income for the day. A bit of trust and patience would have saved me a lot of stress and him a bad review.

    Answer from tradesperson:

    Sam, first of all we were there to fix two toilets which we did, we then also agreed payment on completion of the job. Although I did not want to get in touch with another message about payment, I was still waiting for payment three days later which you stated you did not want to pay due to a leak which was no fault of ours. The reason I asked for a call out fee was because I had to leave another job as you called us claiming the toilets were leaking. When we arrived we then discovered there was a leak on your flexi hose on your tap, we disconnected and capped your hose off. I do not understand how you can claim the cause of the leak was because of us. Due to us having to leave another job and out of pocket we requested a call out fee, which did not get paid.
