I decided to get my shed roof fixed by Prestige roofing, instead of the gutter diversion job. A big mistake. The roof repair is shabby, and there are multiple problems. I am taking the matter to Small Claims Court.

Hired Michael single leak to gutter line. The original job was £100 gutter‑leak repair, but I added fascia/soffit painting to make it a full day job for him — even though painting wasn’t needed, as it had been done just a year earlier. Despite this, work still took 2 days There were several problems • Said I could test gutter before paying, but tried to leave without test. When tested, multiple leaks appeared • Didn’t have proper tools/materials to fix leaks or sanding • Brackets placed without screw • Painted over fungus without sanding. Fungus already bleeding thru • Downpipe painted without sanding, & paint flaking off • Became aggressive when discussing testing prior payment • Left site messy, tools, brushes, bottle left behind Sharing 4 others make informed decision. Plz read all 1-star reviews. What is the value of warranty if you don’t fix a failing job? He won't issue the warranty/receipt if u write -ve review. FYI he left all the debris on public path. said it is ur job.

Michael was prompt and professional. Clearly explaining the work required to be done. No messing around. I would recommend him.

Actually, I realised that I needed new guttering and downpipes on a 4-bed house as the existing stuff was very, very old. Michael from Prestige gave us a competitive quotation and also suggested ways to improve rainwater flow in guttering and downpipes. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently. Our premises were left clean, tidy and secured as requested. Michael also pointed out some rotten boards and gaps in the roof and offered to do this additional work if we wished. We had this work carried out but there was no pressure on us to do so. Very happy with all aspects of Prestige.

Michael completed the job as quoted (no scaffolding was needed in the end), he also explained everything whilst doing it to ensure I understood everything. He also made other observations that may require additional works, however no pressure was made. I would recommend and use Prestige Roofing again.
