We were dissapointed with the work carried out. One curtain pole has been placed too low to open the french doors another has fallen out of the wall 2months after being installed. Builder did not come with the correct tools and asked us if we had them to cut the poles shorter. we did not have them so they now have marks left on them from where they were marked to be shortened. Contacted builder to correct the mistakes after 2months of excuses we still have to hire someone else to correct the above issues. The other poles fitted have so far been fine but overall disappointed with the work.

Before Paul started the job my "garden" was in an extremely overgrown state making it impossible to use. There was an uneven patio with lots of weeds coming through. It took Paul and Connor a full day just to clear the garden even though it is not the biggest garden in the world. Now the garden has been completely transformed. There is a now a beautiful york stone patio, which has received many compliments from people, with a beautiful path leading up to a summer house. Paul also built the summer house which was delivered in about 1000 pieces and he did a really good job of putting it all together. He also put up a 3m awning and ensured it was level. I wanted something to break up the sea of plum slate and the patio. Paul suggested railway sleepers which look lovely. All in all I am very happy with the quality of the work carried out and I now have a beautuful, useable garden...roll on spring and summer is all I can say.

We hired Paul to take down some trees in our front garden and put up a fence in their place. The job was made difficult by existing tree stumps which couldn't be seen until the existing trees were removed. Despite the difficulties, Paul was persistent and spend the extra time so that aesthetics weren't compromised. The completed fence looks very good and we are very pleased with the result. I'm happy with the work Paul did and I'd recommend him.

Paul was friendly and did a fantastic job of our patio, and when we asked for a little bit extra, there was no problem. The Job took a little longer than was estimated but we also asked for a little bit more. Paul's administration skills are not his best asset, but then I again I was paying for a gardener and not an accountant. He also offered some good advice too. A job well done, highly recommended.

Paul has done an outstanding job which involved laying a new patio and a complete garden makeover. His attention to detail and hard work are highly commendable. I would definitely hire Paul again;indeed he is going to do some work on my front garden at a later date.

Paul's quote was extremely reasonable. He removed a large amount of slate crazy paving, and two full skips of concrete. Relayed the area with paving slabs. Professional workmanship, turned up when he said he would. Cheerful and trustworthy. His assistant Connor did a grand job in helping out. Very pleased and would recommend him to anyone looking for a job well done and at a very reasonable price. Would use again. Thanks Paul

Paul, contacted us promptly after posting job. Came round to house to view job, and provided quote. Agreed time and day to carry out work. On day of job, Paul was here at agreed time, and completed job efficiently, explaining what had caused problem to occur. Very efficient friendly service. Would contact Paul in future should we need further work.

Paul Avory is a first class tradesman. He replaced my old garden fence, with a new fence using concrete posts, which will be easy to maintain and replace panels as ans when required. He also built a wooden gate leading to the side and back of the house, which was required for security purposes. I was very happy with the standard of work and would gladly recommend Paul.
