Very pleased with the job. Paul and his colleague were knowledgable, hard working and always punctual, despite bad weather hampering the work. Job completed as per quote, and site left clean. Aftercare instructions provided. Would definitely recommend

We had a rather complex driveway with a high retaining wall to be constructed, involving approx 3,000 bricks. The planned area for the driveway was initially a very steep slope/garden with around 65 tons of chalk to be removed... Paul, Richard & Elegant Driveways brick laying team, were always on time, courteous & considerate to not only our needs, but also they were very thoughtful to surrounding neighbours when using their vehicles. They were all a very hard working team, very easy to get on with, and the end result is fantastic! Many neighbours and passing local people have made very positive comments and I would not hesitate in recommending Elegant Driveways services to anyone!

We hired Paul to pave our driveway which included an area of grass that needed to be taken up and to build a small wall, all in all around 50sqm. We had a few quotes for the work from others but Paul was the most competitive, also the most professional in terms of how the quote was presented etc, also Paul’s company has been operating for a long time which also gave us confidence. Paul and his colleague started work on time every day; in fact they were always early, the work took about 4/5 days and we were delighted with the finish, it makes the front of the house look completely different. Once the work was completed my wife decided she wanted something added to wall and like clockwork on the day agreed they came back and added what was wanted. Overall delighted and I would not hesitate to recommend Paul.

We contacted Mr Hearty to quote on paving our driveway as he was recommended to us by a neighbour. Mr Hearty's price was extremely competitive and presented in a professional way (including details of the spec, the price, his experience, guarantees and insurance) which was all agreed by both parties before commencement of any work. At the end of each day he made sure I knew what was going to happen next and that the area was left clean and tidy. The finished job was on time and on budget and I am extremely pleased with the end result. Mr Hearty's strengths are most definitely his professional approach and his wealth of experience.

Paul installed a block paving driveway with retaining wall and a fence. The workmanship was to a high standard and was carried out efficiently and promptly. Paul was aware of current driveway requirements and provided a detailed specification of what he was going to do. He was very adaptable and would make helpful suggestions as the work was carried out. He took time and trouble to ensure the work was to our satisfaction. The end result has been admired by our neighbours. I would recommend Paul unreservedly.
