Very professional job and we're very pleased with the outcome. Alan was professional and very clear about what to expect, as were the tradespeople he worked with. Everything was done quickly and on time and the finishing was very good. Would recommend Alan to others and I would be happy to hire him again.

We were so happy with the previous project Alan undertook for us (new roof on conservatory and underfloor heating throughout kitchen/diner area) we invited him back. To maximise the kitchen area the current entrance was to be bricked up and a new doorway created leading from the hall. Alan arranged for the required building regs to be submitted to the council and his team started work the week after the permits were received. Knocking out a new doorway, they were very careful not to scratch the new flooring their colleagues had laid a few months previously. Again tidying up as they went along, they did a grand job to our complete satisfaction, fitting the existing door into its new position. Alan and his team are real easy to get along with. Highly rated.

We were very pleased with Alan and his team for our large kitchen job - particularly the joiners, electricians and plumbers who were always happy to answer numerous questions each day, provide advice and accommodate any changes as required. We were very happy with the end result and would recommend Paterson Home Improvements to anyone wanting a reliable firm to undertake a job requiring multiple tradesmen with various different skills.

Alan and his team have done an amazing job replacing nine windows and a patio door. We had seven previous quotes and were feeling very disheartened after several large window companies (who spent almost three hours round at our house and we couldn't get rid of them!) quoted us over twice what Alan did. Alan was like a breath of fresh air in comparison - down to earth, efficient, honest and reasonably priced and couldn't have been more helpful. The windows are exceptional quality and we are delighted with them. The team of three guys who did the work worked diligently over three days to get everything finished and tidied up after themselves. I couldn't be happier with our fantastic new windows and the service that we received from Alan, I can't recommend him highly enough.

Alan and his team did a fantastic job building my conservatory in time for Christmas even though I asked for them to also lay new flooring throughout the kitchen and hall they still managed to finish it on time with a great finish. I am very happy and getting them back to do some other work in the New Year. 👍

I was having a window removed to create a doorway, another half wall taken down and a doorway blocked off. From the outset Alan was great, when the job started his guys were brilliant. They were there when they said they were going to be and did a fantastic job. The attention to detail is great and the finish is fab. Would definitely recommend these guys to friends and family if they were needing anything done. Thanks a lot.

Our project was to upgrade the conservatory and diner into an area we could use all year round. Alan was very attentative, offering helpful suggestions and gave us every confidence this could be achieved before winter set in, and at a reasonable price. A tiled, insulated roof with velux windows and underfloor heating throughout the area were the major aspects of the work. His team turned up every day around 8am and just got on with the job, regardless of weather. Special mention to Jamie and Dean who were very respectful to our needs, their attention to detail was impressive and tidied up at the end of each day. Alan popped round most days to monitor progress and address any issues we might have. We did add a couple of extras not on the original quote. Excluding the extras, price quoted was price paid. Thanks to Alan and his team I am writing this (not in my speedos) in our conservatory in mid December, admiring the worst the Scottish weather can throw at us. Did I mention the floor looks and feels great.

A good, friendly team. I have allowed some time before leaving feedback and the installation has now been exposed to the wind and weather. All looks as good and as fresh as when it was completed. No leaks and hopefully the house will be warmer this winter. Recommended.
