Andy spoke to Howdens on our behalf to rectify mistakes with our order, for which we are grateful. However, the overall finish of our kitchen and the attention to detail was not as expected. Andy has offered to rectify these issues but we have chosen not to take him up on his offer.Answer from tradesperson:
In all fairness we have offered to return to replace the beading supplied by yourselves as it was inadequate for purpose. Also replace the thresholds supplied by yourselves as they also were inadequate for purpose and not the ones we requested. You said the cupboards were dirty but these were the old cupboards with new doors. Neither have you mentioned all the extra work due to inadequate securing of your old wall units. It's nice though that you appreciate the trouble caused between your order to howdens and our efforts to correct them despite the fact that it was myself paying the difference in costs.

From your first contact with us, when applying for the job of replacing the section of our kitchen worktop, to the your completing the work; you have delivered first class customer service and workmanship. No mess, no hassle, punctual and after you had finished the job you had contracted for, when a separate unrelated problem occured you made three separate journeys to find the necessary parts for us. We cannot recommend you highly enough! A job well done, we are extremely satisfied customers and we hope to be able to utilise your services again in the near future.
