    Replace double glazed unit

    Had done jobs by nick before and seemed like a great guy. He was meant to replace one window for me on a project i was doing then the pandemic started. After that all I had was excuse after excuse on why the window couldnt be delivered why he didn't have a date etc. Luckily I had held onto money from the job so was able to get the window from somewhere else for cheaper or I would have been out of pocket.

    Answer from tradesperson:

    The company I used had shut due to lock down at the time, there was no excuses made just the truth. You was also forgetting the 12 Double glazed units that I had already changed with out any fuss. From you going to another company I then instantly lost money. Back then everything was out of my hands couldn't control what happened with the manufacturer at the time.

    Secondary Glazing to one Sash Window

    Turned up to measure window and only then told me it takes 6 weeks for delivery. I Paid £300 deposit. 8 weeks later still nothing despite multiple messages. He told me and the tenant after numerous conversations "window is held up in midlands due to coronavirus". Finally gave up and asked for money back. Still waiting for refund. Plenty of excuses. Planning on Court Claim now as no options left.

    This was during covid when we went in lockdown again alot on company's either closed or no drivers, this happe ed to multiple jobs which was out my hand, you received a refund and did promise you would remove this negative review

    UPVC front door handle impossible to use

    Nick. Was easy to reach, communicated well whist we tried to organise a date for his visit. He came on time and was quick and neat with the repair required and charged a reasonable price. I have added him to my phone book and will definitely call on him again if required

    Fit 5 windows upvc

    I gave a description of what needs to be done precisely when I posed the job in writing. the window fitter gave me a price over the phone but when he came to do the work wanted to increase his price so the job did not go ahead.

    Answer from tradesperson:

    Your description for the job was not accurate. When I spoke to you over the phone you said to me that three windows have been fitted just needed the glass to be installed. When I arrived this was not the case there was much more work then intended. None of the windows had been fixed or made good on the outside they hadn't been foamed around the edges or leveled. I acted professionally for you to storm off and slam the door. I was trying to be reasonable with you but couldnt get a word in as you kept saying I didnt read the description.

    Adjust a couple of UPVC windows in Slough

    Nick from The Glazing Squad did arrive as planned and swapped out the faulty hinges for the three windows as quoted, I highly recommend patronage of this exemplary tradesman.

    Hinge and Handle Replacement On Bathroom Window

    Nick was fantastic all the way from initial contact to the actual execution of the job. Communication was sleek and the hinges and handles were replaced in no time (under an hour). Would thoroughly recommend.

    Fix broken spring for secondary glazing window

    Nick was very quick to respond and visited to give us a quote within a few days. After assessing the condition of our broken secondary glazing window's springs, Nick promptly ordered the replacement parts and arranged to come back and fix the issue. To our delight, on a second visit he fixed our existing springs without needing the replacement parts (returned)! I would definitely recommend Nick and his team!
