    To fit a ceiling fan

    Maurice was on-time, polite, professional and his quote was very reasonable. I'm very happy with the small job he completed and would have no hesitation in calling on his services again in the future :-)

    Lights changed

    Maurice was very responsive and contacted me immediately. His quote was not the cheapest but based on his reviews I decided to go with him. I had to chase to make sure that he is still coming after we agreed the time and date,but he was on time. He did not complete my job as he did not have a long enough ladder to reach my hallway light...so did not change the light fitting. I have to now look for someone else again to complete the job. He left my property with my door key (he had to let himself in)...I have to no chase him for the key

    Answer from tradesperson:

    While customer satisfaction is or number one priority. At some point as a business we will need to defend our reputation. This customer never informed me one of the light fittings, to be installed was located above the middle of a stairwell that was at least 9 meters from floor level at the midpoint. If I was made aware of this I wouldn't have agreed to the job as I don't have access to a scaffolding tower , I couldn't even reach the ceiling with a three tier ladder horizontally due to the width of the stairwell. A cash refund was given for the labour for the light fitting that wasn't installed. This was totally out of my control as the information provided was vague and inaccurate. All keys where returned to site on the agreed time and date and a booking confirmation was sent on the same day the appointment was agreed.

    New smoke alarm base plate to be wired in

    Good communications, and job done quickly at a good price. Looks to be very good work. Would recommend.

    New electric sockets/ switches in bedroom

    Maurice provided a reasonable quote over the phone. Punctual and polite and did a great job. Cleaned up well. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

    Electric cert for BC for extension/garage conversion

    Maurice was a pleasure to have do our work. He was here early, worked to a good standard,!made time to come back & do slightly extra to get job finished, which he charged us a minimal amount for - completely fair, open & honest. Would definitely use Maurice again, thanks

    Conduct EICR and PAT testing

    Maurice gave a competetive quote, turned up on time, explained everything clearly. He came back on a separate occasion to carry out some others task as well (fuse board replacement, re-testng, etc.). Overall very professional and would recommend him. Will consider using Maurice in the future again, should the need arise.
