We’ve recently moved into our new house and they had awful internal doors - and oddly, all different sizes so we needed them replacing. We had also opened up the lounge so needed a doorway and door added. We had been let down (many times) by someone before we thankfully found Matthew and he was just great - super helpful and friendly, and quite the perfectionist. Such high quality of work and you can tell he takes great pride in what he does, there were often days where he’d stay late to finish, even on a Friday - and he even hoovers up after himself. Reasonably priced, very professional and reliable. I would recommend Matthew to anyone looking for a carpenter - thank you!

Matt has been working on a very big complex house extension and completed all our timber work to perfection. Work detail included, 20 meters of flat roof 1st fix timber framing, 10 m box gutters, timber sub floor, fitting new door frames and oak doors, oak flooring of 70m2 , skirting board and fitting our complex kitchen around our boiler location to the millimeter. I was highly impressed by this. I found Matt through a friend and hired him on word of mouth, good faith and judgement and how lucky have we been. Matt’s workmanship has been brilliant, we have been 200% satisfied with his work, reliability, time keeping and honesty. He is very reasonably priced and will go the extra mile to make sure we were happy. He has good attention to detail and left the place clean afterwards. I've already recommended Matt to friends and family. I wish him all the success going forward as he is worth hiring!
