Hired to hang internal doors, excellent job done on time to a high standard. Would hire again

Delighted with my kitchen - it looks amazing!!!!! Mick was great. Gave a competitive quote and supplied my worktops at a discount taking out all of the hastle of my mini refurb. He was great with my curious children demanding to be kept informed through every part of the job too! He cleaned up at the end and the work is to a very high standard. I would recommend to everyone and I have a bunch of business cards to give to my very fussy friends and family. Having read the previous feedback I could not disagree more. He even fixed things in my kitchen that I had not asked to do. Brilliant!

my advice would be do not employ this person... he showed up 3 days late ... on the day he did turn up he worked from 08.30am to 3pm and only put 2 doors .....he suppose to fit 6... he did not paint the doors as promised not until I made him ... when he vanished the door the job so so poor I had to do it myself... he left the whole palce in a mess .. he is a very dirty worker .. all doors sawings were thrown into my bathroom !!! On top of this he was suppose to put a wardrobe together but broke it in the end the whole episode coast me more money as I had to buy a new wardrobe and time ... he took ages .. very slow and dirty worker.. I now wish I had chosen someone else

Mick has done a great job on creating a new kitchen from ripping out the old outdated room and he utilised excellent other trades people to help out when needed. work was of a high standard and he always attended when he said he would. nothing was too much and he was a pleasure to have around. as with previous feedback he likes his brew (and foxes biscuits)! i will definately use him again for future work. thanks mick! jenny

Nice bloke, he done an exellent job of fitting 4 oak doors on 3 bedrooms and a bathroom, i have asked him to do some more jobs for me after christmas as his work it of a high standard and is not overpriced like some tradesman, would highly recommend this chap as a good craftsman.

Very happy with the whole job. Mick communicated well working out my requirements and was a great carpenter, very exact work, positive attitude. Would definitely use again, doors were hung with precision, materials ordered and brought with ease and work area left tidy with rubbish removed. All just as asked, couldn't fault Mick's work.

Mick fitted a kitchen for me. I cannot recommend him enough. He was extremely reliable, worked very hard, and was trustworthy. Mick went that little bit extra to do a great job and took such pride in his work, as if it was his own kitchen. An excellent and talented carpenter, plasterer and builder. On a more personal note, he is a lovely man. He was great with the children and the cat. I actually missed him when he left.

Mick worked very hard on the work we required and even helped out with some issues we had with the kitchen fitting. He is a very helpful and friendly natured person, a real find. We would recommend Mick to anyone as he has the skills and character that you would expect from a reputable tradesman.

Michael is a hard worker and works alone. The quality of his woodworking skills are good and he did a good replacing my kitchen cupboard doors. His quote is in line with and competitive with other quotes provided vias this site, but decided on Michael because of the feedback that I had read on this site.

Firstly, I have to apologise to Mick for taking so long in leaving my feedback. Mick came and did a fantastic job of fitting my solid wood floor, Architraves and Skirting complete with a solid wood door. He was very competitive in his pricing but mostly was a very honest and reliable Carpenter. He turned up when he said he would and finished the job beautifully. Mick does love his Brew.....his singing is nowhere as good as his carpentry skills although he is still trying to hone his voice. He is very good with the kids around as well under his feet but still kept his cool and plodded on. I would definitely have Mick back again for any other jobs I need doing in the future but would pass on his singing although he did leave a lasting impression on my youngest. Its all about the money, money money........Thanks Mick Gavin & the Gang
