    New plasterboard for kitchen ceiling.
    Mehmet did an excellent job replastering our kitchen ceiling. The work was high quality, the price was very fair and he was very easy to communicate with. Would certainly recommend.

    Plastering and painting
    Mehmet is outstanding. He has spent the last four weeks plastering and decorating four rooms and a three storey hallway. He did the work quickly, cleanly and to an exceptional standard. I am delighted with the work and I would recommend him without hesitation.

    Plaster ceiling of a 4m x 3m room
    Unfortunately Mehmet finished the job to a poor standard. He was asked to replace an old ceiling with a new one (plasterboard, skim and paint). He also had to skim around the corner of the walls where it meets with the ceiling. The colour of the walls is salmon pink, the ceiling is white. To cover up the excess plaster left around the walls, he painted it white instead of pink, leaving it to look ugly and unprofessional. I now have a crude white 3cm border around the top of my pink walls. All he had to do was call to say he needed to get pink paint to go round the corners to match the colour of the wall, but instead he did a half hearted finish. Upon speaking to him he said the walls were not part of the agreed work, however, should a professional not say or know that this type of job would leave a border of plaster around the ceiling which would need to be painted? Cannot recommend.

    Plastering two new cupboards

    Mehmet did a good job with the plastering and then did a bit of painting for me too. I felt he was totally trust worthy and was very happy to leave him with my keys etc. he is also willing to re-do items that you aren't 100% happy with and is an all round nice guy. Thank-you Mehmet - much appreciated!

    Plastering 1 room plus fireplace

    Mehmet came round at very short notice to do a plastering job for us. We had been let down by another plasterer at the last minute, so were pleased that he was able to come round on a Sunday. We were very happy with the quality of his work and would definitely use him again.

    MyBuilder is working with a production company on behalf of Channel 4 to supply builders for a renovation/building based TV show. This Job is for the filming of an episode based in Hornchurch, Essex. We will post multiple jobs within the appropriate categories. FOR THIS JOB POST, we require; Painter/Decorator - ideally a team of 2 or more You will need to be an expert in your field, be able to work well under pressure, happy taking orders from the programme producers and foremen on-site, and be comfortable in-front of a camera crew. Every job will have a daily rate of £150 and all materials will be provided. Overalls and T-shirts may be provided, and Tradesmen will be expected to represent MyBuilder and the TV show professionally and properly. Where appropriate, MyBuilder will work with you to get coverage in the press, and online, so we may be able to generate you some commercial benefit from being involved over and above the work itself. Oh, and you must be ready to have fun while you work - this will be a great project to be involved in!

    Mehmet Kiziltas was used in a project for the Channel 4 production team in Hornchurch in November. Mehmet did a fantastic job and we would recommend him for future work.

    Plaster repair and skim
    Mehmet did a great job on our second bedroom. Four walls needed some re-plastering and skimming, plus new skirting boards adding. The resulting skim is beautifully flat which was excellent given that we live in a 110 year old house and there were some nasty surprises along the way! He also did the architraves around the door which we hadn't originally asked for which was very good. Not bad for two day's work! In summary, a skilled tradesman with an excellent work ethic. May be contacting again soon when we have the budget for other jobs!

    Plastering floor to ceiling downstairs cloak room wc
    Mehmet was very friendly, courteous and very professional, we chose him because of the wonderful feedback others had left for him from previous jobs, he did not let us down, he gave a reasonable quote to plaster a downstairs cloakroom, he finished the job in the time he stated, the end result was impressive, the walls that were plastered were perfect & he even did a couple of extra jobs while he was there within the time. I would highly recommend Mehmet, very pleased with his work, professionalism & friendliness.
