I gave the job to Michael but they didn’t finish within timeframe they can’t keep up the promises they make a lot excuses they didn’t finish the job in good standard one day they left house unlocked some one broke in and did damage to door and fireplace, Later when refurbish started they found two major Electrical faults it was keep tripping off contact them again promises but no show so I have to pay to other electrician to get it fix. They left electrical rubbish behind after so many reminders they said will remove it but they didn’t at the end they agreed to pay me if I arrange someone to remove it I arranged the man and van to get rid of all electrical rubbish which did cost me £210 sent them invoice after few messages they said will pay tonight then again excuses they will pay tomorrow but tomorrow never came they still owe my £210 not happy with their job at all and now there is no more communication from them. made mistake paying in full won't recommend to anyone no worth it.

Michael came out and sorted our issue immediately. He then came out a few days later and fitted us a brand new consumer unit and suggested we fit fused spurs to 2 of the other sockets. However he wasn't able to do this that day so said he'd come out again. Been waiting 2 months now and due to my own mistake I paid him in advance for all the work. Still waiting for the fused spurs to be added that I've already paid for but no response to texts and don't think he's interested. Moral of the story, don't pay for work before it's been done.

Used Mr Egan twice. First time was OK. Second time, a full house re-wire has been a dreadfully poor experience. After the rewire was supposedly completed, one socket still had bare wires hanging out of the wall, other sockets and lights not working. Took several attempts to get him back to fix these problems. I was promised an certification after the rewire but he isn't contactable anymore. I won't be using him again. And I'm having to pay for a certificate and take him to court to claim the additional costs back.

Did a good job for a good price, will use again for future electrical issues

Light switch fitted which did not match original. Agreed that Michael would come back and replace. Chased for 6 weeks and still not got anywhere - now can't get through to him via his mobile - will update review if this situation is resolved.
