I have no hesitation in recommending McNicholas Flooring. I judge people/tradesmen by what they say and what they do. Paddy ticks all the boxes in that respect, he did everything he said he would do in the time he said it would take. I bought some materials in preparation but Paddy insisted on using his own materials he uses day in day out as he knows the results he gets. It would be easy to keep the customer happy and use my untried materials which could possibly end with low quality result. Paddy preferred to stand by his workmanship with trusted quality materials and i respect him for that. I'm very pleased with result.

Paddy installed nearly 100 square meters of Karndean in our home. The product looks fantastic. He is hard working, professional and most of all trustworthy. I would not hesitate to recommend his company.

I was very badly let down by another flooring contractor and was in desperate need of a specialist Karndean contractor who could ideally still meet the original deadline. Paddy from McNicholas Flooring contacted me soon after I posted my invitation and came round to quote for the work the same evening. I was lucky that because a job he was supposed to be working on the following week had been postponed, he had a spare week to do my work and he was also very competitively priced. I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and expertise in all things Karndean and Amtico - he does not fit any other floor coverings. I was also struck with his passion for his work, he genuinely wants you to love your floor when he's finished. He quoted on Thursday evening and started work on Friday. He worked on Saturday and all of the following week, one night until 9pm, because he had committed to delivering within the timescale. He managed to finish on deadline at 6pm on the following Friday evening. I have hired a lot of trades during the refurbishment of my house. Paddy was the best of them and easily the most hard working. When you add in the quality of his work and his willingness to go the extra mile, you have the ideal professional.He uses the best quality materials and knows his stuff inside out. I am glad I get to leave his first review on My Builder because he deserves a glowing review - he will get many others. You have nothing to fear hiring McNicholas Flooring. Thanks Paddy
