O’rio did lot of work in bathroom and kitchen. Especially reapplying grout and bathroom silicon are excellent. In kitchen also he applied grout and silicon, I really appreciate his work skills. He is very polite and and humble. He also helped me in shifting heavy objects from one room to another which is not listed in his job listing. We hired Orio to do decorative works in a our block of serviced apartments based on other positive reviews in his profile. After Orio finished the works, we sent our house keeping staff to check and make sure that everything was in order. Unfortunately, we have been surprised to see that the apartments were left dirty, dust all over the place, paint everywhere. Our cleaner worked 2 days to tidy up the mess. We contacted Orio about it but he blamed us that we have not provided him any cleaning tools despite the fact that he never asked for any cleaning tools from us. We have used many other contractors over the years for doing such works and never seen anyone leaving our properties in such messy state.Answer from tradesperson:
Thank you for your review, all feedback is appreciated. However, dishonest feedback such as this is detrimental to a small business owner such as myself. We had dealt with this matter privately and as I said over the phone the jobs I have done for your apartments in the past, cleaning supplies were left out for me therefore all ‘mess’ was tidied up. We have never had any complaints about leaving a mess after a job, so it is strange we would start now. Not even one out of all six of the apartments had a dust pan and brush in, me and my team looked throughly. The said ‘mess’ was from sanding cracks on walls which were tiny piles that would take seconds to go over with a vacuum that your cleaner would have. I was also informed in the past that the cleaners would be in after i’d completed any jobs. Meaning to not worry too much about little spots of dust left behind. You also informed me over the phone that your cleaner could not make it in for two days due to family issues, therefore there was a delay with payment nothing saying it took her 2 days two clean a few piles of dust.Everything was returned to its place and left neatly.It is such a shame after discussing the matter you’ve felt the need to write this review, especially as we are currently in talks of me doing more jobs for your apartments, based off your review it is strange you would want someone who left them ‘in such a messy state’ to come back. I would highly recommend Orio! He is very efficient, reliable and goes above and beyond to do an excellent job. From when I first contacted Orio it was a smooth process and knew he was someone that I could depend upon from the start. He did a great job taking down the old storage boxes, shed and assembling new storage boxes. I even asked at the end whether he could remove an old washing line which he kindly did as well. Was very patient with me helping me to source some of the things I needed to get the job done, even when it took longer than I anticipated. Job then scheduled promptly and arrived on time. Very polite and courteous and did a great job, and good tidying up.
