Mark fitted UPVC French windows downstairs, a large window upstairs, fitted some cladding between them, replaced gutters, fascias and soffits on our house. The quote was competitive.
If I'm being picky, one of the windows was slightly undersized at the top. To be fair to Mark it was a tricky measure due to part of the window opening being obscured at the time of measuring. I guess in hindsight I would have ripped off the cladding that was already there before measuring for the opening but he can't really do that as didn't know if he had the job at that point. In any case, he made good on it and you don't notice it at all now. We are talking 15mm or so.
A small vent pipe had to go through the fascia, and that was carefully done, an attention to detail that I appreciate, and something that could easily have been botched by other fitters.
The removal of secondary glazing left a bit of an ugly mark on the inside of the window reveals, so we asked Mark to put a upvc strip there to hide it which he did at no extra charge.
There was a also a bit of a mix-up over exactly which work was included, due to the quote being slightly ambiguous about some extra cladding we wanted on a porch, which Mark let us have in our favour. Many other tradesmen would have tried to charge us extra, but Mark made this hassle free by just getting on and doing it, something that we really appreciated.
I would not hesitate to recommend Mark for any of the work he did for us.
