    Paint the interior of a 3 bedroom terraced house
    A bunch of unskilled workers with limited access to tools and training - not the Painting and Decorating professionals that I was expecting. The overall finish was poor. I had to bring them back a number of times to redo bits that they had said were completed, and even then it was often not quite up to a professional standard. Unfortunately this is a job where we had to agree to hold back some money so that I could get the jobs redone properly. Some issues: 1. Lack of preparation. E.g. Moss on the outside wall just painted over. 2. No dustsheets were used. My outside paths are littered with paint splatters and spills. 3. Very poor finish to the painting work – edges not straight, dust in the paint etc. 4. What appeared to be learning-on-the-job. Quite obvious that they had never laid a lino-floor before. I have had to get other decorators in to rip up their work and do it properly. My overall impression with this job was that they were unskilled tradesmen, doing a quick, cheap DIY job and not giving the professional, polished finish that I would expect from a Painting and Decorating Expert. If you just want a quick coat of paint slapped on, or some simple handy-man style job then they are the ones for you. But if you want a Painting and Decorating job done to high standards then stay away.

    I have to disagree with this feedback as it black naming our company. Also other our feedbacks can show that something is not right as we always focus on client, people were always happy with our professional work. From beggining client wants standard enough for tenants as he dosen't want to spend fortune to renovate. Problem of that client is that he starts to expect higher standard (after he get normal, he starts to looking around to rise it to high standard free of charge) House that client provide was destroy inside, carpet was rotten, frames without doors, wallpaper falling down After I decline his expectation that wasn't in our deal, he get angry and pay outstanding money for job almost 1 month after

    Hanging 3 roller blinds

    Marcin gave me a very reasonable price and completed the job (removing three roller blinds and their fittings, and replacing them with three new ones) the next day. I am very happy with his work.

    Replace bathroom sealant

    Marcin's fee was quite a bit lower than anyone else here but the results are perfectly good. He was able to arrive the next day and did not charge us extra event though the job took much longer than expected.

    Painting
    Marcin completed the work in time. There were a few dents / uneven patches left. Overall satisfactory.

    Multiple jobs

    Marcin was pleasant to deal with and turned up on consecutive days to complete the job. The negative was the quality of work which was a poor standard. Job included : - Painting internal doors: only a very streaky single coat e which didnt include removing the door handles or painting the sides or bottom of the door. - Sealing a new glass sink: The sealant was almost coated over the entire sides of the sink instead of a neat line around the gap at the base, leaving me with a frosted glass appearance instead of the new clear glass I had to start with. - cutting and fitting floor beading : The sawing was done directly on top of new dark wood floors I just had laid, and a mess of saw dust left over the floors and new living room furniture. It was just laziness that this woodwork wasn't done outside. Do not expect any of the mess to be cleaned including lunch and drinks cans left around the flat. This is a minor effort to ensure you leave a customer pleased. Other door handles changed: The bolts included with the new handles were not changed, again I can only presume out of laziness. This meant the new handles don't work because they have the old wrong size bolts in the doors. Overall a cheap price for a very poor quality job. To be expected I guess.

    Our: comment to it: Customer have a lot of work unfinished around house. I realise that other tradesmans left workside due to client, which was rude and expect something impossible. 1. Painting, in quotation client wanted to have one coat to be laid on doors, in fact she buy cheapest paint from B&Q, where I said that it won`t work due to quality, but we were paid for 1 coat, so I don`t understand this comment. 2. Client want to finish sealing of sink without removing it, which was impossible due to construction of sink. 3. Beading was cut on cover, where it would be stupid to cut it outside where was raining. We always clean after ourselfs. Client dosen`t pay as agreed, is not worthy to work with person like this.
