Hello mr lock, Thank you very much for feedback. David, carried out the site visit to provide you with a quotation to carry out the works to install new mechanical ventilation in your rental property.david was concerned that the exterior wall could not be cored due to its construction (pre stressed concrete panels) after speaking to Edinburgh city council (building control) They informed us not to commence the works as it would breach current building regulations. David then suggested that we could install the a new fan into the bathroom double glazed window. We contacted several double glazing companies in Edinburgh to gather information and quotes on how much this would cost to get the necessary works carried out. When we provided you with the costs for the works to be carried out, you decided that it was not a option you wanted to take at this time,as it was more money than you were willing to spend.
