Complete kitchen overhaul - back to the joists and bare brick in a 120 year old house that has no straight or level surfaces. Of all the trades we used a tiler was the hardest to locate. Fortunately Luke responded to my post and was able to call out to see the job the next day when he was in the area. He was unfazed by the half floorboard and half concrete floor and offered useful advice on how we could prep the floor. We agreed a price and a date. Luke remained in contact and was always available to advise when we had queries. He sent a message the night before the job to check we were good to go and confirmed his arrival time. Arriving promptly next morning he measured up the room and worked out the best tile placement and then just cracked on. Because the floor is on a slope he had to use a thicker tile bed, resulting in more bags of adhesive being needed and therefore an increase in cost which was fair. He worked solidly and tidily for 8hrs and we now have a beautiful tiled floor!

Hired Luke to do a full length splashback in the kitchen. Was impressed before the work started as he called to give some advice on the grout colour and how to make the tiles stand out more. His communication was excellent, and the tiles look great! In short, really nice guy who did a great job. Will definitely use again.

Luke came to finish off my kitchen that another tiler had left half done, the tiles that were put in 300/600 were all loose and came off the wall as Luke was checking them it turned out the wrong adhesive had been used also the skimmed wall hadn’t been sealed neither , Luke still took the work on and arranged a full day to retile that whole wall for me after he advised me to get it boarded, also grout the other tilers tiled wall (metro tiles on that wall ) and finish off the rest of the walls that hadn’t been tiled , he also had to remove all the adhesive off the back of the big tiles before he could reuse them , I was lucky he agreed to fix the horrendous situation I was left in , he worked the whole day untill the job was complete for me and never complained once about it , a true decent tradesman that I will definitely take back in if I need more work doing , he cares about his work and gets the job done also cleaning up after it and making sure I was a happy customer . Luke is a true professional and a perfectionist. I had these huge tiles to fit on my bathroom floor which was a real challenge but he overcome all the obstacles and did an absolutely perfect job I would totally recommend him 100%

Luke has transformed our basement - what started as an unloved and untouched space has become a really lovely couple of rooms. The pattern of the tiles was not easy with the shape of room but Luke set about and completed quickly and to the agreed price, to an excellent finish. He has done other tiling jobs in the house, putting right badly done tiling by others and I couldn’t fault his work. A really skilled tiler I would highly recommend.

Really nice lad, punctual and polite. Easy to work with. Did a cracking job with 1mx1m tiles which are hard to work with. Would 100% use again.
