He worked around my schedule in terms of 'work from home' requirements and plastered every ceiling in the house without any disturbance to my work. Left everything clean and tidy every evening and covered everything as he went to reduce the inevitable dust. Totally delighted with the finish and he stuck to the time and price quoted. Review left on 10 Jul 2020Rating: 1 out of 5Plastering wallsI got Lee to plaster 4 rooms, halls and stairs-ways. I had a few issues with some of the works (see below). I contacted Lee and gave him the opportunity to come to remedy the problems. After some exchanging of messages Lee blocked me and stop communicating. I feel very disappointed for the amount of plasterwork I gave him. Kitchen worktops don’t sit flush with the walls. The hall ceiling upstairs and downstairs has crack and falling down. Wall at stairs 2 meters square piece of plaster has fallen off. When trying to paint the walls the paint is not taking to the plaster in some area, my painter used the correct procedure for new plaster but there are still issues. I would have like Lee to have come and have a look and discuss before leaving this feedback.Answer from tradesperson:
Jane I done all this work at least 6 months ago and you were over the moon and very happy with the work so I don’t know what you have done to cause these problems, there was a lot of underlying problems else where in your property that were nothing to do with me that might have caused your problems! and the case of can’t get paint to go on the walls maybe if you had a decorator to do it like me who knows what they are doing and not just some guy you know everything would be fine! Lee called and arrived same day priced the job which was reasonable. Returned the next day and completed within 2 and a half days. Excellent work done, professional and cleans up when complete. Would highly recommend.
