I told Kevin the leaking happened only when I use the shower room and basin, but he insist it’s only basin leak (in fact my basin never leak before), so I trust him, leave him on the work, after 20 minutes, he said all done and promise the leak will never happened. I trust him again and never test his job before he go and paid £70. However, when I try to use the basin the next day, leaking happened. I text him back and he said the problem has been solved, if the leak still occurred, it should be other problems and will charge extra if I’d like to solve it. Of course I won’t trust him anymore. It’s very tricky to find a small issue, fix it, take the money and go. If you cannot repair it, just say you can’t fix it now, I can pay the transport fee and wait for your available time, but don’t lie to people in order to get money quick.Answer from tradesperson:
Judy l was at your home at 6pm as requested and you arrived at 7pm. Once in the property l found very minor staining on ceiling below shower room. I ran shower as you said you don’t use this and checked underneath for leaks including silicone and grout fail...all ok I then flushed toilet a dozen times and checked the inlet...all fine I then checked your basin and it was clearly leaking from the back as you seen my hand very very wet. I fixed the problem and checked before l left. You then sent me a message the following morning call me unprofessional and wanted your money back as the staining is still there....of course the staining will still be there. You also stated shower was leaking when it’s clearly not. I said l would come back to check again and you never replied Judy. I also said that if there was any other leak it will be underneath the floor we’re all waiste runs into a internal stack but this is very unlikely. I resolved a major leak and this was doing damage to your property Judy. I really don’t understand why you was so ignorant and rude once l resolved the issue and left. By being honest and respectful Judy you will go along way in the United Kingdom Kevin

Review left on 16 Dec 2019Rating: 5 out of 5Kitchen Mixer Tap replacement & Toilet slow refillingKevin fitted the new tap brilliantly and didn’t stop investigating until he found out why the loo was so slow in filling - dismantling the whole thing before fitting a new part he had on his van. He made sure I was happy and confident that all was working properly and still charged the quoted fee even though there was more work. He arranged to call the following evening and arrived earlier than expected. Really lovely friendly guy great personality. Plus what a fantastic job he did. I live in a very old house where everything is never straightforward but Kevin overcame all issues. I love my new taps so easy to use. But Kevin overcame all the problems and did an absolutely fantastic job , his attention to detail is flawless.. I would recommend Kevin to fit anyone’s bathroom he’s a skilled fitter and a top fella with a great attitude. 10 out of 10 ..
