Very pleased with this job. Nick came and gave a comprehensive quote, explained the different ways this could be done and discussed what we wanted in a clear and professional way. He arrived on time to do the work, was efficient and left the site in a clean and tidy condition. In short, he does exactly what he promises! We would have no hesitation in using him again or recommending him to anyone. He is just the kind of contractor you are hoping you will find on a site like this!

Nick came on site and assesed the problems with the drive not draining away properly unlike the original builders who just put in a inadequate soakway.He took the time to explain the pitfalls and all the details of the job. The quality of the work was excellent and all the area dug and repaved was left spotless. Even neighbours who are builders were impressed with the standard of work. Nicks work is excellent the price was good and he is a very genuine guy who you can trust to do a first class job. Can not recommend highly enough and will be using again.

All I can say about Nick is that it is a shame there aren't MORE tradesmen like him! As soon as he had finished my wall to move onto my front garden path, I just KNEW the end result was going to be good. Once again,we were treated to Nick's experience and enthusiam for the task at hand. What was once an uneven path that would not have withstood another bad winter, is now an eyecatching neat block paved path. What sets the path off is the little extras Nick did for us - namely, he replaced the 52 year old garden gate posts with two impressive red brick pillars and two flat bricks AND even fitted my new garden gate as well. I am so pleased with all the work undertaken by Nick and his team and will definitely be asking him back.

Nick arrived on time this morning as promised. At every stage of the job he consulted me on what he was doing and why. He priced the job very competitively. Nick was very tidy during and after the job, infact he left the drive cleaner than it was before he started! As soon as Nick and his team had finished my garden wall, I was so pleased with the result I felt I had to tell everyone looking for a bricklayer about their high standards and attention to detail. I had a garden wall built about four years ago by someone claiming to be a bricklayer. As the adverse weather took its toll, it soon became apparent that THE cheapest blocks had been used. The red brick pillars weren't straight and, apart from looking an eyesore, it was obvious this wall was not safe. I chose Nick because I was fed up with being stung by cowboys - I knew this job would cost me about £5000.00 so I had to have someone with a large feedback....someone I could trust not to rip me off. When the quotes came in from Nick, not only were they considerably less than £5000.00 but you could tell he knew what he was talking about. A family friend of a friend in the trade got me the materials and the skips so I only needed Nick's labour. He didn't have a problem with that. I am very grateful to Nick and his team for all the little extras they did for us. The wall looks fantastic and I will definitely have Nick back again to do the rest of my paths in due course.

nick gave us great confidence when he came to inspect the job to give us a quote. not only did he answer all our questions but he was able to talk things through in an easy to understand format!! he seemed to be in control but was also flexible and interested in what we had to say. his quote was very reasonable and he was able to start quickly, which was a little surprising given he seems to be very very busy (look at his feedback). he and his team worked very hard when they were with us, and kept us informed all the way. we are delighted with the end result. in a nutshell....nick is trustworthy, knowledgeable and experienced. we wouldn't hestitate to use him again. worth his weight in gold.
