Having been let down by another brick layer, I called Nick in a panic.He visited me the next morning and was honest from the beginning.He told me I would have to push my window installation back (which was in 7 days time) as rushing to fit within a timescale wouldn't result in a quality job.My husband and I had no hesitation in hiring him and he fit us in to start the job 2 days later.He carried out groundwork too which I was so pleased about as my ground worker whom I hired separately was delayed with other jobs. He arrived on time everyday and there were always 2 others with him on site. They were all such nice guys and he kept in touch with me by text. Before I left for work each day they'd already been working for an hour!! Every day whilst I was at work, I received pictures of the work they were doing and I was impressed at the quality of it and so excited to see it take shape. We were quoted a price that came out exact, so we had no nasty surprises. My garden was left neat and tidy at the end (even my mugs were in the washing up bowl!) and I trusted him to lock up for me if I was going to be late. I expected hiring a builder to be a hard task, having never done a big house project before and not knowing anything about the process. With lots of builders I could have chosen,for once, my luck turned out great! I wouldn't hesitate in using Nick again and have already earmarked him for more work in the future. I'd recommend Nick to friends and family without hesitation.
