I would recommend Nicholas Kilshaw of Kentish Builder. They are very professional and helpful. The pricing is very reasonable and the workmanship is excellent.

From start to finish Nick @ Kentish Builders were polite, professional and full of well thought out ideas. Nick created a number of bespoke wooden planting areas, replaced 2 manhole covers from concrete generic ones to low height covers able to be turfed thus ensuring the garden looked seamless and pleasing to the eye. Nick also suggested an addition To the job by way of a step to finish off a large area of paving we have recently completed which would add a visual highlight -he was completely correct, we went with the additional job and it looks wonderful. The job was completed in excellent time, to budget and was very tidy, he and the boys were a delight to work with. After a run of bad luck with builders we’re delighted to find Kentish Builders. Very highly recommended indeed

I would like to highly commend the very kind and prompt response from Mr. Nicholas Kilshaw to an emergency situation with my roof, following being scammed by some rogues who took my money, having damaged my roof and left me with scaffolding for which I had paid them money, but which it turned out did not have the name of a company on it, so breaking the law. My roof it transpired was in good condition apart from the tiles broken by the scammers. Mr. Kilshaw came immediately to deal with the roof, and his kind attention and reassurance were very greatly appreciated. He also dealt with the problem of the unaccountable scaffolding, which was a great relief, and arranged for its removal and storage. His sons and he worked on a Sunday morning to sort out my problems, and I wish to thank them for their very professional work and kind attention.

A really nice, approachable guy. Very professional throughout the job from beginning to end. Nick kept my home as clean and tidy as possible while the work was underway and I am very happy with the finished results. Will definitely use him again for future work and would happily recommend him to anyone considering having building work done.

Nick, his son and labourer were excellent in carrying out this job. Nick was most helpful, informative, straightforward and clear about what would be the best way of remedying the problem we had with the outbuilding. In addition, he was able to clear and relay a large concrete slab which was unsightly and ineffective, as well as clearing a passageway to the rear of the building. The work was carried out efficiently and as explained. As we were away shortly after the work started I was able to leave Nick with access keys to the relevant part of the property and by the time we got back the work was all but finished. He had been in communication with me throughout and provided photographs of how work was progressing in our absence. Payment was made in logical instalments as the work progressed and I was most happy with that process. The work was finished to a very good standard and everything cleared away promptly. We are very pleased with the outcome. Nick is professional and has the customer's interests in mind when providing advice on the best way forward. we have no hesitation in recommending him as tradesman who knows his stuff and would look to use him for other work as it arises in the future.

What a great guy! Came round to quote for a job and explained to me exactly how to do it myself and save a few hundred quid into the bargain!I Could tell that he definitely knew his trade very well just in the short time that he was at our house So although I didn't need to hire him as I did do it myself exactly as I was told to and it looks perfect I will definitely call on him first for our next job. Three great guys. One great job. We have never been happier. They layed a large area of decking in 2 days. We needed a step done as the elevation was higher than expected and they just got on with it. They even helped move a small shed without question. Thanks again guys. Great job.
