Nick did a great job for my elderly parents in their garden. He commenced work early in the morning and his attention to detail is to a very high standard. He also very kindly installed and cemented in a rotary washing line and prepared and cemented an area for their large planter, free of charge which was not originally planned for in the quote. My parents will be employing Nick again for future work. I would have no hesitation in recommending Nick and would definitely use him for any work we may need in the future.

From the word go Nick was so easy to communicate with. I told him my ideas on what I wanted to have done, from a woman’s brain He told me what I could have done and what I couldn’t and what he recommended I do. His quote was more than reasonable. The first job was to secure the load of the chimney stack in my bedroom, which was precariously siting on the ceiling rafters, so Nick and Liam put steels in to make it secure to even out the load. Both brilliant at explaining to me what they were doing and why, at every stage, they had more work to correct without any extra charge for labour. Once that was secure they could work on the front room below, more catastrophes were found but they took it in their stride with pride. Very easy going, courteous, punctual, hardworking, clean and tidy workmanship. Phase one complete, they are going to be doing another job for me next week, another bodge job by previous owners.

Nick is so helpful, friendly and polite - and a hard worker too! He was on time, very reasonably priced and was keen to get the job done. I was so impressed with the finished job as it was completed to a very high standard and there was no mess left to clean up! I left Nick working at my house as I had to go to work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone, will definitely use him again. Thanks Nick, great job!

I used Kentish Builders for the first time a few years ago for some repointing work to a Victorian house that I had just purchased in Ramsgate. I was very happy with the work carried out at that time so I had no hesitation in contacting them when my tenant at the same property contacted me to say that bricks above the arched front door had come loose and fallen out. I sent a photo to Nick and he visited the property the same day as it was apparent that the structure was unsafe. He assessed the damage, made safe and provided me with a quote for the repairs explaining what the work entailed. Work was carried out the next day. Nick sent photos of the completed work and cleaned up and removed rubbish from site afterwards. I am very pleased with the service provided, fast response, fair price, very good standard of work and I was kept up to date with all aspects of the job by phone call, text and photos which was very important as I could not be at the property. I cannot recommend Kentish Builders/Nick highly enough.

Nick was one of five quotes we had, he came and showed great interest in or project and actually spent time to measure up and discuss ideas which meant a lot to us. The build wasn't straightforward due to the materials that we had chosen and ordered, however Nick was more than up to the task, he was enthusiastic and communicative throughout. Nick and his son Liam were early every day and did not stop, the work is of a very high standard, my wife and I are over the moon with the final outcome, what Nick has built has added an extra dimension to our lovely property. I have already passed Nicks details onto friends and I know exactly where I shall be looking in future when we require work to be carried out. A really great honest tradesman who is worth every penny. Thank you Nick and Liam for a fantastic job.

Having struggled with a leaky window some a while (useless and will never use again window company!!) .... and several attempts to resolve it later ... this builder seems to have done the trick! ... so I can fully recommend!

Really happy with Nick and Liam's work repointing our side wall. Both incredibly nice and helpful guys who went above and beyond. When we first raised the job, Nick was able to come out and get us a quote really quickly at a time that suited us. When we were ready to start, Nick and Liam got going quickly. Liam turned up early and worked hard every day in the hot and cold. Nick kept in touch throughout to make sure we were happy with how things were progressing. Thank you!

Nick was one of the best tradesman I have the pleasure of meeting. He was able to get to my house promptly (within 10 minutes of my call) assessed the work fairly, source the correct materials quickly in this pandemic and complete the work ahead of schedule and to the cost agreed. I would definitely recommend Nick as he is also happy to spend his time looking at other issue I have with my property. He is fair polite and kept me up to date with all aspects of the job with multiple update via phone calls, text and photos. I found this to be very helpful as I wasn’t able to be there when he was doing the work for me. Thanks Nick.
