Julian and his team have just finished a rear extension to our property. His team were hard working and did a good job with the building work. They were always polite and worked hard when here. We are pleased with the end result and the cost was fair. Any extras were explained and agreed in advance and Julian tried to keep costs down for us. Our only issue was that the finishing off took a long time and some rushed parts had to be redone. Saying that Julian and his team came back several times to make good & ensure we were happy with all aspects of the final product. He was always contactable and was happy to come round to discuss any issues even if it was a weekend. He kept in good communication with us throughout.

We couldn't be happier with the work Julian and his team did for us. They turned our small bungalow into a large family home with large new rooms, entire new roof, windows, doors, bathrooms, everything. All of his guys were great to have a round and made us fell very comfortable. They were great with our little ones and make sure they kept it as tidy as possible for them. Communication with Julian across the months was just as required and he was always at the end of the phone or round ours if we needed. We always knew if there wasn't going to be anyone on site and why not. Pricing was fair and we always came to an agreement before any extra work was undertaken. Overall, it couldn't have gone better. If we have any other requirements in the future Julian will be the first person we call for sure.

I had an urgent job to fix a lengthy crack in the loft wall pointed out by the surveyor when selling my home. As we were close to completion, Julian kindly visited quickly to have a look at the problem and was open and honest about the work required (helibar fix, which was actually less than I was expecting). The quote was very reasonable and whilst my buyers wanted a structural engineer to verify there were no further issues, he fitted the work in the following week, straight after the engineer's visit. The work was completed ahead of schedule, the team were neat, tidy and friendly, and I'm very happy to recommend them for future work.

I was very pleased with the standard of workmanship carried out on my garage conversion. Nothing was too much trouble for Julian and his team, and any issues were sorted out promptly.

Polite and fast service. Even visited on an evening for the initial quote to fit my schedule. Removed the requested wall and left no mess. Would recommend and use Julian's services again :0)

JNR Building have just completed our job and being in the building and having been in the construction industry for 50 years found this team absolutely brilliant. They carried out the work perfectly and left the site clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good bricklayer. Thank you for a wonderful job!

Julian Roper executed on budget and to our great satisfaction a large 3 part extension of our property. From the preliminary interaction with Mr Roper, we observed his enthusiasm to deliver this project to its completion. He offered constructive and viable cost saving propositions and has contributed positively and honestly throughout the build to help ease our decision making processes. Mr Roper produced promptly the comprehensive project schedule with payment stages justified by material purchases and building outcomes. The project was completed on budget, whilst ensuring that the schedule fitted with us still living in the house. He was mindful of our absences when scheduling structural work in the original house floor. Mr Roper has an extensive portfolio of excellent tradesmen. He took full ownership of their schedule and outputs to fit the demand of the build. Mr Roper was always available to answer our questions and concerns. He always remained: professional, polite and flexible. Mr Roper and his group of tradesmen are honest, hard working and proud of their achievements. Brickwork completed very satisfactorily, on time and no hassle. Will be rehiring JNR Building and Maintenance for further work when needed. Will be recommending to others.
