The team were very efficient laying a concrete shed base. All questions and concerns answered and no issues from start to finish. Would definitely use these futs again!

James was quick to estimate a fair price then within few days his team of 4 came to start in full swing. Daily start early morning and attended promptly during duration of the project, which was completed on schedule. Initial start was a bit nervous must say, but then day by day things started to come together nicely. Lots of work completed, clearing and digging just over 150mm, full weed membrane, then 100mm recycled MOT type 1 hardcore laid all over, whacker plate across, then cement sand mix mortar for porcelain tiles with primer, granite dust stone with whacker plate for artificial grass, sleepers with dpm etc Finally all site cleared and tidied up including washing driveway. Tips: have or agree a clear plan what you want and James will deliver as you wish! Thanks for our first garden landscaping experience!Answer from tradesperson:

I hired JTI Groundworks for a patio sub-base installation, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. The job was misrepresented from the outset — I was shown images of what looked like proper MOT Type 1 being professionally compacted, but what was actually delivered was the complete opposite. The base is composed of mixed recycled rubble, plastic, glass, and broken tiles, none of which is suitable for a patio foundation. It was not whacker plated properly, and the entire area is uneven and poorly compacted, making it totally unfit for tiling or sleeper installation. The aqua drainage channels are misaligned, loose, and not bedded in concrete correctly, posing long-term issues for drainage and stability. Every tradesperson I’ve approached since has refused to continue the project due to the unacceptable quality of the groundwork. Avoid this builder at all costs — I am in the process of taking him to small claims court.Answer from tradesperson:
Dear Mr Iqbal I’m am sorry and quite frankly astonished at how you have behaved on this project! The job we carried out for you was done in the exact way described to you in our quote/description. The material used was type 1 crushed concrete, which is a recycled material, which I have told you on numerous occasions. I have the paper documentation from the quarry it came from to confirm this. The Aco drainage was all installed as per your instructions and again we have photo evidence to back this up. The job was left in a perfectly flat condition and was adequately compacted. We even came back and compacted it again for you to try and keep you happy. The only misleading that has occurred here is what the people you have had come and price up the paving have said to you. They have slagged off our work, so that they get the paving job and not us! I will insert all photos showing the complete job we have done and my solicitors are now dealing with this matter.
