I found John through this website. I had ten builders submit quotes, three of those builders were people whom have done work round my house before. When John arrived for the first time, he was the only person to turn up and actually tell me what he was going to do, bearing in mind what we were having done this was quite important. He impressed me right from the beginning.Once we had received all the quotes we then decided to go with John. He wasn't the cheapest, but like I said he did and said the right things. Before work started John would keep me up to date with his diary and when he started, he arrived on time and was clearly up for the job.John progressed very well, he told me he had done between 60-80 loft conversions and this was clearly evident as I was very impressed with the way things were progressing. He made the steels go in so easy!!John used good electricans and plumbers who were duely qualified, turned up on time and got the job done with no problems. We had a few extra jobs for John to do as well, and they were reasonably priced. All in all, John was round my house for eight weeks. He was trustworthy to leave a key and look after things while we were at work. He stuck to his word with the quote and the quality of work is excellent. He answers and responds to ALL calls and emails, and was VERY VERY punctual, working Saturdays and Bank Holidays!All in All I would strongly recommend John and would be happy to show his work off to everyone who wants to.

John was fantatstic. He hung 4 internal doors for us along with hinges and locks. He was friendly,professional, efficient but most of all trustworthy. In my expereience, one of the most frustrating things with builders is that they are very hard to get hold of, not John though. He will always answer calls or texts swiftly. He has been over since finishing the original job to make sure that any snagging is seen to. We will definately have John back to work on our flat again. I honestly cannot recommend his work highly enough.

really impressed with the quality of John's work as well as his method of working. He is diligent and thorough and the finished product looks great!!..very pleased with it. John did a fantastic job on the windows. He knew exactly what had to be done and was happy to to go the exra mile in ensuring a quality finish. I called in a number of tradesmen in to provide me with an affordable noise solution for our bedroom facing a main road. John provided the cheapest and most effective solution in the form of magnetised perspex secondary glazing. He also built us a beautiful shaker style shelving cabinet using a combination of oak lipping and mdmf creating a final result which is indistinguishable from pure timber. Despite a fair bit of fluctuating requirements from our side. John completed the job in record time for a very reasonable price.

I needed help sourcing and hanging a new front door, in addition to repairing an emergency hole in the ceiling. John was always swift to respond, and within a week had made time to pick up and fit the door, and replaster/paint the ceiling. Both jobs were done to an extremely high standard in a short space of time. John was a good guy to work with, and kept me informed of progress. I would certainly recommmend John's work, and look to use his services in the future.

John answered all of our questions and was able to complete the work within budget and on time. He built and fitted an excellent external door with detail to match our internal doors. He worked with his colleague Voytek to create the doorway, install the light and complete the required finishing touches. Communication was excellent throughout as John took the time to highlight any potential issues and involved us in the decision making process. They both worked really hard and late into the evening in order to finish the job, and they cleaned up after themselves.
