Upon inspection of this job the shower tray was in a damaged state of repair with cracks in a pvc shower tray, suggested replacing the tray as it was unsafe but customer un willing to do so, original waste had be botched so waste was replaced, previous installer had cut out floor boards below the alley way and fitted the tray unsafe, in between joints and also cut out the floor joists making the install/tray unsafe, as I do with every job, I take pictures to cover myself before any work is started as some customers try to blame other companies for previous handy men botches, I have attached pictures of the previous install in which you can see the state of the floor joists in which the tray has previously been fitted and unsafe install, but some customers are happy to destroy your reputation to get what they want, I have over 70 bathroom installs so I know how to put in a waste for a tray I’m afraid
