Unfortunately the hobs weren't working after the cooker was wired in. The electrician came back out the next day to recheck the wires, still the same issue remained. I managed to hire an engineer via Pacifica to have a look a week later. He said it wasn't wired correctly, but I'm assuming it was since the oven was working etc. It seemed to be a fried neutral at the wall that was the main issue.
