    Radiator leaking - replacements

    Jack arrived and solved the problem of a leaking radiator quickly and efficiency. He then came back the next day when our toilet started playing up abs solved a tricky issue. Would highly recommend.

    Leaking and broken pipes under sink

    I had a split pipe under the sink which caused a flood to the kitchen on Boxing Day. Jack came out next day and promptly fixed the broken pipe efficiently. Jack is friendly and good standard and would be pleased to use his services again. Thank you.

    Shower Tray removal and replacement

    Jack Nani is NOT recommended. Jack Nani is a Bodge-it character. I commissioned Jack to replace a leaking shower unit in a House of Multiple Occupation rental property in July 2022, I am only now completing the feedback in December 2022, as I have no intention of pursuing Jack to complete the absolutely bodged installation of a new shower unit which he supplied & fitted, & has leaked ever since. If/when it leaks again after his last visit a week ago for the umpteenth time, I won't have him back. Jack is an incompetent, unprofessional, messy, and rude. He has returned approx 10 times to bodge up his previous work as the shower has leaked after attending. The list of leaks, from the tray not being fitted properly, the tiles grout not water tight, etc. goes on. His latest bodge failed, again, and the shower continued to leak through the mixer unit pipes, leaving my 5 tenants without a shower for a week, he then returned to do another bodged job of refitting the mixer unit crookedly and the tiling is not flat. He has damaged the kitchen floor, when pulling out the tumble dryer to access the stopcock, & also snapped the power cable in the process! No apology or repair! Redecorating the ceiling downstairs is once again needed, from the multiple leaks (I have no idea how much further damage has been caused by the persistent leaks on the internal walls etc.) I paid Jack in full, back in July, which I regret. In my opinion, Jack is someone you employ at your peril.

    Downstairs radiators not getting hot

    Jack was very responsive, communicated clearly and gave a fixed price quote for the job which he stuck to, despite encountering some unexpected problems due to the age of our system. He was polite and professional. Highly recommended. We would use him again.

    Water from shower head not hot

    Very happy with the work - Jack was great and very helpful, went to a lot of trouble to sort out aged mum's shower - she's now very happy and shower working perfectly! Thanks very much - will recommend!

    Power flushing 7 radiator system

    I paid a total of £700 for this flush. The day after the system still appeared cool in places so I contaced MyBuilder who advised to liaise with Jack to resolve in the first instance. Issues to date: 1. Forgot to put kitchen tap back together ( not a huge one and Jack did resolve next day) 2. Jack came back the next morning to resolve the tap and put right a diverter valve that needed to be put back correctly. all sorted. On the 25th November I contacted Jack as British Gas had been out to me and informed me the system was still full of sludge. I contacted Jack and he agreed to come out Monday morning to take a look. Five days later and still no sign of Jack as promised. Jack agreed to come the Friday of the following week. This never happened either. I messaged him again on the 3rd December and no reply. On the 5th December I called him, only to receive a few words of him saying he couldn't hear me and he'd call me in ten minutes. This never happened either. I then got a call from his office where I informed them that I would approach the county court to resolve. no surprise I got a raft of texts then offering to put it right. I was told he was having an issue with his phone, despite seeing he's done other work on MB since me. All in all the communication is really poor, very happy to take the cash though. I have since paid £375 to a different contactor, heating working and with a 5 year G'tee! Personally I think it's one to avoid folks!!

    Thank you for the review, we could have sorted it out between us as I showed you full proof that the phone was playing up and even sent you a screenshot that I had messaged you. Even when we offered to come back out you was willing to pay and we said we wasn’t going to charge you a thing. As for saying the radiators were still cold, you’re not telling the truth, the only reason you called us back was because you had the boiler serviced by British Gas and they found some debris in the filter that we installed (within that £700, you did not pay £700 for a flush solely) and you asked us to come back out which we were willing to do. You was extremely rude to us on the phone because I was having trouble with my signal and gave us no option to actually come out to help you to solve the issue. I have attached a screenshot below of your original review which you posted the next day which proves your radiators were in fact not cold in places and you’re just trying to make us look bad. We have over 150 positive reviews over our platforms and this is the very first negative review so it just shows we do take care of our customers as a company and it’s a shame you didn’t give us the opportunity to come back to help you out. We’re glad to hear the system is also now working although you’ve been charged way over the top for a job which has already been completed and we would have finished for free anyway Proof of original review https://postimg.cc/6yT0DB6

    Blocked toilet

    Came on short notice and sorted all problems. Would highly recommend.
