(2ND PROJECT - JIM ALSO INSTALLED 9 RADIATORS AND A FILTER FOR ME – SEE BELOW)
1st Project – I had a very awkward leak from a pipe in the kitchen. It was awkward because the leak was in a cavity area, which meant that we couldn’t see exactly where the leak was, and it couldn’t be fixed easily. The pipework was also pretty crazy. The pipe from the sink entered the cavity area, turned round and ran along the cavity for about 3 feet, and then turned round again and came out of the house. Jim worked out the likely location of the leak, before drilling a hole in the wall to give him access. He then changed the pipework so that there was only one straight pipe going through the cavity area. This will prevent any similar problems in the future. He also repaired the 2 walls.
If you have any leaky pipes, Jim is your man.
I was very happy with the work and with the price.
2nd Project – A couple of months later, I hired Jim to install 9 radiators and a filter. Jim was extremely good at this work. I was particular concerned about the possibility of damage to floor tiles and wall tiles in the bathroom, but Jim was able to install the new radiator without disturbing these at all. All the radiators and the filter are well installed and looking good.
If you want to install radiators or a filter, Jim is your man.
I was very happy with the work and with the price.
