Really great experience with Jamie and Callum, installing new loft insulation in my South East London maisonette. Jamie was quick to get in touch when I was searching for quotes and was clear, friendly and knowledgeable when we spoke.
Following a quickly set up site visit, Jamie provided a transparent quote (which was exactly what was ultimately paid) that was both clear and good value. Thanks to the detail he provided on the insulation materials that would be used I was able to research these myself both for their thermal efficiency and cost, which made validating the quote as a good one even easier.
On the day of the install Jamie and Callum arrived as planned, worked solidly and at impressive pace until the job was done, all while working in a really tidy and surprisingly quiet fashion given the nature of the job. Very much the kind of experience you'd want when having skilled tradesmen in while working from home.
The end results are exactly as we discussed, look great (and vastly improve on how my loft was before) and - while it's early days - appear to have made a really nice difference to heat retention and speed of getting the property warmed up.
Jamie and Cal also engaged proactively on what to do with some of the reusable materials that had been left in the loft, clearly showed how to easily access pipes next to the new insulation and gave helpful advice on other projects I'm considering.
