Review left on 8 May 2017Rating: 1 out of 5Replace Consumer Unit(Updated on 9 May 2017)DID NOT MEET REGULATIONS, IN FACT, IT WAS NO WHERE NEAR THE REQUIRED SAFETY REQUIREMENT. Had the work redone at my own expense and got a certificate stating everything is 100% safe. This company cuts corners and unless you are an electrician you will be unaware. I was lucky, another electrician noticed the faults... Undersized main tails/cables, Main tails/cables not secured, Incorrectly isolated, Hole in back of unit and exposure to water, No grommets fitted, No certificate DSA ELECTRICAL still wanted his money and sued me in the county courts. By the time I opened the letter it was too late to defend so I just paid it. Passed everything onto my solicitor and will be filing a case against them summer 2017, total costs because of this amateur company is £1000+. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.Answer from tradesperson:
DSA electrical is a hard working small family business and will continue to provide high quality, very professional electrical installations to our customers throughout South Yorkshire. We have worked very hard to resolve any issues if there is any with Mr Walker, but despite our efforts, he chooses to ignore our calls and emails for the outstanding invoice for the agreed job. We have had no choice only but to take court actions as a last resource against Mr Walker and we have won him in two occasions and recorded County Court Judgements ( CCJs) against Mr walker. Under claim numbers: B5QZ8J5Z and C7QZ422W .

He was punctual and completed the job quicker than we expected. He took care to cause minimal disruption and was very precise in ensuring the lights were placed exactly where we wanted them. He talked through all the options for each installation and seemed very knowledgeable. Review left on 18 Jan 2017Rating: 5 out of 5fuse box upgrade and potential rewiringWe got Djafar in to ugrade our fuse box and do a full rewire as part of a big renovation project. He also cleared out all the old wiring before starting - this was itself a pretty big job. From beginning to end, Djafar was brilliant to work with. He always came when he said he was going to, arrived on time, and stuck to his original budget - which was very reasonable. He was worked around our schedule, which got a bit unpredictable in the weeks leading up to the final fix. We're now living in the house, with everything working as it should be, and a certificate (which arrived quickly after the job had finished) to say that it's all been done to the correct standard. On arrival he looked at the job telling me that the upstairs socket was incorrectly placed. He did the downstairs socket quickly with no mess. Djafar moved the upstairs socket to the correct place explaining what he was doing again fast with no mess. Also he didn't charge any extra for moving the socket. We needed work done fairly immediately and he was kind enough to rearrange his time to make space for us - completing the work ahead of schedule. Djafar made safe an unused circuit and installed our circuits as we requested... he also assisted in helping to determine where two unknown circuits were going to. The work was completed in time and for a fair price too. We'll definitely consider DSA Electrical Ltd for the next stages of our renovations.
