Needing a yearly safety check on our Worcester Boiler. Damon responed promply on site ,rang me and was able to fit us in the same day. Very much appreciated. I was very impressed with the same day service. He gave me a time for visit and honoured it. Damon and his assistant were very professional and friendly . Explained everything. Review left on 14 Dec 2020Rating: 1 out of 5Install new radiatorsAVOID Job was to install 3 radiators - there was lots of other work and it was said that this would be looked at and could be quoted for. Damon started doing work. Quality of workmanship initially seemed fine. About half way through, Damon approached me quite aggressively to tell me that he had no time if there were other issues. I told him he was here to install radiators - I didn’t see the issue. He constantly told me he had no time and had other jobs (at 5pm on a Friday). The floorboards were absolutely hacked away at and destroyed by the pipes. I even had to offer a saw and a pallet outside to sort the mess. One of the floorboards had been replaced resting on the newly installed pipe work! Damon simply has the wrong attitude and gives a shoddy and aggressive service. I wanted to wait for the newly installed radiators to warm up but he simply couldn’t be gone quickly enough. I asked for an invoice but like a spoilt child, he huffed and told me he had no time. I said I would make the payment shortly as I wanted to wait for the radiators to warm up. After 15mims of leaving Damon kept calling and text me to tell me he needed the money. He was meant to be offering a service for which he is getting paid - he shouldn’t be acting like a debt collector! It’s a shame really as the workmanship could have been fine, but Damon’s attitude was completely in the wrong place - I even saw him vaping in my house! I certainly won’t be asking him back. (Still no invoice!)Answer from tradesperson:
I just want to clarify that before work commenced Andy had initially told me that he had problems with his boiler loosing pressure and explained that he thought he had a leak somewhere on his installation which I said in a calm manner we are only here to install the radiators and get your heating up and running in which he actually got aggressive with me. The floorboards was not hacked at they was placed bk in the original position but once left when we went to install another they fell underneath the floor and was unable to get my hand to them. He never mentioned anything about it I seen that they had fell after everything was complete and we was checking everything over and I actually replaced it before we left. Andy asked for a invoice and I said I would send him one when I had some free time as we are really busy bear in mind this is only 4 days ago! We went above and beyond for the customer and i am in total shock by this negative feedback!
