What can I say?! My original post was to replace a 1970s boxed in banister with spindles and a handrail. However, having made contact with GK Joinery I realised that they could also carry out a long list of other jobs we were needing done inside and outside the house. In the end they replaced/installed fencing, installed a decked area, constructed a trellis, laid laminate flooring, replaced skirtings, installed double and bifold doors to wardrobes as well as the complete replacement of the bannister and handrails which has transformed the look of our hall and landing.
From the time Graeme came to assess the jobs I felt the work would be in good hands. He made lots of suggestions and came up with solutions to some of the problems needing addressed. His quote was detailed and competitive.
When the work commenced I soon discovered that I would not be disappointed. I found Graeme and Darren to be hard working and focused while always being friendly and accommodating, and answered all my questions with openness and plenty of explanation. They are very professional and their quality of work is excellent. They take real satisfaction and pride in their work and I am delighted with the results. They are also extremely pleasant to deal with.
