Mark was friendly, great at communicating and meticulous in his work. The fences he erected have easily withstood the test of Storm Eleanor, and the wall he built is both sturdy and attractive. Would certainly recommend and will very likely invite back for future garden projects.

The work carried out was of an excellent standard and completed in the time specified. The area was always left in a neat and tidy condition with consideration given to our access needs. Mark always explained what he was doing and why and communicated the available options. I would recommend mark and would have no hesitation in using him in the future.

I had several quotes and decided to hire Mark as he provided a realistic quote and came across as very courteous & professional. Unlike some contractors that quote for the work and then simply drop a team you have never met before to do the work, Mark carried out the work himself along with his son. Every aspect of work was carried out thoroughly and to a high standard, ensuring I was happy with how work was progressing at every stage. Despite various dilemma’s with the existing garden, poor access and dealing with some bad weather, Mark remained positive and determined. Through the development stage, Mark made various suggestions that improved the final look of the garden beyond my expectations, We are very pleased with the way our garden now looks and can’t wait to enjoy it next summer. Having dealt with various contractors in the past, that turned out to be unreliable and average quality of work, Mark has been one of the best and would highly recommend him. We have already asked Mark to quote for further work!

Mark has just finished my patio. Mark did a lovely and fantastic job from start to finish. He began with a nice work of landscaping leaving all area tidy and clean everyday on that job. Mark was always very kind and respectful,and asking me directly if what he was doing was exactly what I expected. And it was. Mark is a tradesman that I will trust again if another work at my property arise,no trouble to hire Him again. The job He has executed speaks for itself and can be show to anyone interested. Mark has done a brilliant job at my property. He created a new path and patio area and utilised artificial grass and gravel stones to create an attractive yet low maintenance garden. Mark quoted me in advance of the work but was still able to accommodate my last minute request to construct a fence as well which has really added to the attractiveness of the garden. My garden is difficult to access as you have to come through the back to reach it. Mark was extremely careful and conscientious in keeping my property tidy. He kept me informed of the work he was doing at all times which gave me great re-assurance, as I had never undertaken a project like this before. The pride and professionalism Mark takes in his work is obvious, whether it is overcoming little problems, making suggestions to get the best finish etc. The little details make a big difference to the end result - he even fixed my neighbours fence as well! I would certainly use Mark again for gardening/construction work in my property, and I highly recommend him.

Mark has done an amazing job with our new garden. We had lots of overgrown trees blocking out the light. Most of our fence was missing and our patio's retaining wall was structurally unsound. Mark removed the trees, put up a new fence and gate. He then built a new supporting wall for the patio, replaced out upper patio and built a second patio at the top of our lawn. The end product looks absolutely fantastic and we're looking forward to making the most of the lovely British weather! Mark has been great for making suggestions and has an excellent eye for what works and not. We wanted to make the upper patio secure for a toddler but didn't know whether the best way would be (wall/flower beds). Mark suggested a small fence to run around with a gate to get in and out with. This looks much less opposing than a wall would have, and is safer than a flower bed would have been. He has worked in all weather conditions where possible. He kept everything clean and tidy which is impressive given what he has needed to do. He has also put up with us changing our minds or adding little things to what he is doing without any complaint. He drew up a quote in advance of the work and stuck to that without adding extra costs, except where we've asked him for additional work. In addition he is exceptionally friendly and always worked with a smile. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Except for the fact we don't want him to be fully booked for when we next want to get him in for our driveway!

The Welsh Garden and Construction company were friendly and professional throughout the job. Mark listened to and understood our requests, had great and creative suggestions, and worked well to our budget. The outcome was a beautifully rebuilt wall and steps, and he laid a fantastic sandstone patio that was just to our taste. The work was also completed within the initially quoted timescales. I would recommend this company to anyone.
