plaster a ceiling beam
Kevin and his father came very promptly to quote for replastering part of my farmhouse ceiling that had been damaged by a leak. They did a superb job, turned up on time and left the room very clean afterwards … I would highly recommend working with this family run business

Leaking attic dormer
Communication with Kevin was top class. They came to visit the property to perform a detailed review of the scope and provided a clear and detailed quotation. They turned up when they said they would and completed the work to a high standard (with a 15 year guarantee) and the left the work areas clear and tidy and free from debris. Very pleased that we selected Evelant for the work and would definitely use them again in the future.

Chimney Capping
Kevin and his Dad turned up on time to quote for the works. The quotation was reasonable and they offered to do the works then and there. Done in under an hour. Very professional. Would definitely recommend

Old roof and wall

Leaking pitched extension roof
Called in to assess and repair a leak in a small pitched roof. First heavy rainfall and still leaking in exactly the same spot and now even worse than before. They offered to come back but I refused and I have no trust in their "expertise" have since had 5 reputable roofers review who all commented on the poor and unnecessary work and the underlying issue is the wrong tiles have been fitted for the pitch of the roof. I tried to ring them to ask for a refund as the work was a total waste of time but was just met with arguments. I was reasonable and only asked for 50% refund but they were just not interested. Get someone with proven experience would be my advice.

Sorry to read this review, the work was done in the right circumstances and the leak was completely in a different area that we worked on, came back to investigate it and left a time for the next midday to come and understand why that leak came through as the flashing lead was right, and we thought that it would have been something going on at the flat roof, as they were attached together. Perhaps that, that roof has for more than 25 years and even though the tiles were getting old, it is not a reason to let the water through as the membrane plays the roles as an extra cover. We also recommended to get a new roof, that he refused as it didn’t seem that necessary to them. Thanks!
