Denis and his Esko Construction team are skillful, hardworking, diligent, always on time, deliver what they promise, and very client orientated. I can recommend them unreservedly.
Esko were one of 3 builders we considered from those who responded to our job: building a new 8 metre wall with capstones & railings at the front of the house and demolishing & clearing away the existing wall. Esko were the equal lowest cost of the 3, but offered to do the whole job in 3 days.
Denis operates "alongside" the client: he quotes on the labour content and then acts as the client's buying consultant, advising on the best options for where and what materials to buy and the range of cost options. This approach works well because it ensures the client is fully involved in all the important decisions and, of course, avoids any markups on the wholesale price of materials. It does mean the client has a bit more work to do, so it may not suit those who want a 100% turnkey solution - but by my comparisons that will cost at least 30% more than Esko.
When the railings I ordered were delayed, I appreciated Esko's willingness to fit in the final part of the work on a Friday evening after they had finished an other job - I could not have asked for better.
