French door install
Answer from tradesperson:
Unfortunately you can't please everyone, especially when they want something for nothing. We followed the job description word for word, and done exactly what was requested. We charged an extremely low price of £695 to do the job £795 of we where to remove the waste. We did not realise that the second hand French door had literally been cut out then given away. It was coroded, rusty and had been sitting in the garden uncovered for months. In hindsight we should of refused the job. This is the original job advertisement. Hi, i want to take out an existing window and door in my kitchen and put in a pair of French doors i already have (see pics). The sink, dishwasher and plumbing will all be moved beforehand so there will just be a cupbaord in the alcove. Part of the window will need bricking up and the rest of the wall underneath the window needs knocking out (see drawing). Ideal start date is 20th July. Thanks.
