He charged me 50% more than he quoted first, which I didn’t expect at all. He didn’t have the triple ladder with him, so I had to burrow from neighbours. On the plus side, he said was on time and came her at a very short notice. Regarding the job, I should do wait and see if the problem has been sorted.Answer from tradesperson:
Hi Sofia thanks for your feedback I am very disappointed that you never expressed your concerns about my cost before I leave. While you where inside I explained to your husband that the job took longer than expected due to where the pipe was, this was not a straight forward job which would have taken me half hour in normal circumstances. It was never explained properly on your job post that I would almost have to go on the roof, normally a boiler in the kitchen would take 30 minutes to make that sort of repair. When I came to look at the job I explained I need a triple ladder due to the pipe been almost on the roof of the house, as heating engineer there is no need to drive with a triple ladder because the highest we has to go is the loft, my ladder was a double ladder which normally takes me in a loft space. Me and your husband tested the job before I left and there was no leaks please don’t hesitate to call me if you spot a leak.

Kevin was very quick to respond to communication via the site and text message. His work was extremely professional and he made sure the job was to regulation standards. He was very pleasant to talk to and gave me great advice about the cooker he was installing. He tidied up after himself well. I would recommend him to others. Great job done.
