New electric shower
The work involved two phases: Danny's (plumbing) and mostly Danny's electricians'. This review concerns both. The electricians didn't turn up in the first appointment, with no notice. They rescheduled for the next day (am). But next day, they re-rescheduled again (pm). As a result (i) I wasted two days waiting for them, (ii) Danny couldn't finish up his bit that day, which implied an additional day (totaling 4) without a shower. The electricians took 4 hours (!) to wire 4 linear meters and left behind a couple of useless 10 cm diameter holes in my ceiling for me to repair. Next day, Danny and the electricians came to finish in the evening (appreciated). The problem is that people are tired that late and also under the pressure of having delayed the whole thing twice as necessary. As a consequence of the rush, you get silicone _all_ over the place and a number of minor damages here and there (again, for me to repair). This work costed £920 of which 40% was payed upfront. Perhaps things would have been otherwise should the electricians be more professional but I hired Danny and therefore I need to rate the whole team. As a positive point, Danny was very responsive every time I contacted him.
Answer from tradesperson:
Hi there I don’t agree with the review you have left me at all , I stated the way in which you wanted the job done was not the professional approach , I met your needs to get you up and running with an electric shower, as for the electrician his route was in actual fact very difficult and trunking had to be used , as your English is very poor making communication with yourself was very hard also , I’m always on time with my work and unfortunately during our scheduled times I had a family emergency to attend to. But thanks for the bad review
