Was punctual, polite, knowledgable, efficient and very competitively priced. Covered the work area very carefully before starting works, used high quality materials throughout and tidied up afterwards. Also, did more work than I had thought he would for the price quoted without being asked to in order to achieve a "more even finish". I am certain not many other tradesmen would have done the same; the mark of a true professional who really takes pride in his work. The ceiling now looks better than it did before! After my previous experience with other tradesmen Derek was definitely a breath of fresh air. I have absolutely no complaints and I am known for being a perfectionist! Am very greateful for making everything so hassle free!

Del was exceptionally punctual, professional and responsive, and I felt comfortable giving him keys to the house. The paint job itself was good, but the other aspects of Del's service were almost as much appreciated. Del is unbelievably tidy in his work - I was dreading the dust and disruption, but Del and Yassim vacuumed so thoroughly before leaving each day that I was barely aware that the whole house was being painted. (In fact it felt partly spring-cleaned as well as painted by the end) I also highly appreciated their tolerance that I hadn't managed to entirely clear the rooms first - they uncomplainingly moved family 'stuff' out of the way to paint and put it back again afterwards. Del suggested Farrow and Ball Downpipe for the exterior door/windows, which looks great, and he was happy to get my choice of specialist paint for the walls - he sorted all the materials out, they were included in the initial quote and there was no pressure at all to go for a cheaper option. A couple of minor details were not finished to the usual high standard and Del was more than happy to come back and rectify. Overall a very positive experience and would recommend.

Derek's plastering partner, Clifford, did a great job. Clifford is very pleasant to deal with and patient. I will recommend him to friends in the future.

We hired Del to decorate our two bedroom flat and also do some tiling and fit some skirting boards. He was very timely, left the place tidy every day and his work is of great quality. He also kindly agreed to come back and paint around some new lights which we had fitted subsequently. Highly recommended.

Del has done a very good job painting all of the outside windows and masonry. He is very reliable, friendly and trustful to be working in the house on his own. We added another days work painting a loft room which he has done during a weekend. We are happy to recommend him!

Del is a friendly and pleasant chap who did an admirable job on our decorating. He was quick and efficient, with plenty of consideration given to cleaning and tidying. I would have no hesitation in recommending/rehiring him.

I hired Derek to paint the frames of three sash windows. The painting was done quite well but the guys doing the work used my measuring jug to clean their brushes and left a stain (possibly coffee) on my carpet. When I mentioned this to Del, he knocked money off the price to pay to get the carpets cleaned.
