Review left on 11 Feb 2015Rating: 1 out of 5Inconsistent shower temp & noisy bathroom sink drainingDavid was ready at short notice and punctual on the day. However, after a few minutes he announced that he doesn't deal with boilers (my main issue was a hot water problem) and made a suggestion of changing the shower unit as a solution to inconsistent water temp (that is affecting shower and taps). Then after I challenged he accepted that it must be a boiler issue and his recommendation was that I look at the boiler manual. For my second issue, he simply told me what I already knew but didn't have any parts with him and didn't actually offer to source and fit the replacement part. He was at my flat for precisely 21 minutes and charged me £50 (he lives locally and was his first job of the day). I challenged if that was fair to charge an hourly rate for 20 mins and his only response was 'well I can sit around drinking this coffee for next 40 minutes if you like?' I would absolutely not recommend.Answer from tradesperson:
Very disappointed with this review. I explained very clearly on the phone there Is a minimum 1 hr charge, and even reduced this for the customer. The comment regarding coffee was a joke taken completely out of context. This review is not in keeping with my other reviews, and it highlights the difficulties of trying to maintain 100% feedback when dealing with the general public.
