Tom was fantastic. Great communications in arranging the appointment, a very good price for the work, tidy and above all really flexible. Initially the project was to remove all of the shrubs and trees from a border, with potential for stump-grinding. Tom approached this in phases so we could assess if stump-grinding was necessary. This flexibility meant I could review my budget and see what my options were. I did require grinding and he carried out the work keeping the area (and adjacent cars) well protected. Great to get the work done at the weekend as well. I also appreciated his knowledge of plants, tress and shrubs - not just a guy with a chainsaw. We ended up retaining a couple of tress as he indicated they were worth keeping. He also helped with advice on my new planting (choices, fertilisers and what might be good for the environment) Came with an assistant to help out. Highly recommended.

We are very happy and more than pleased with the service we received. It involved taking a large bough over my studio on the side of a steep garden. Quite a tricky place to get at and taking down and removal of other tree branches in a steep, sloping garden and carrying them up and away. Cleared and swept up well.

Pleasure to have hired Tom - it was a big job, felling several big conifers, he was able to do the site survey to prepare the quote. Flexible with scheduling. Spoke to the neighbours to inform of the works and kept them happy. Swept up afterwards. Professional and friendly. You'll be in good hands.
